1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Body Fat Calculator application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our App.

3. The Service

The App provides body fat calculation and tracking services. The App offers both free features and a premium tier (PRO+), available by subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase, that includes additional functionality such as measurement history, cloud sync across devices, health app integration, and progress tracking. While we strive to provide accurate calculations, the results should be considered estimates and not medical advice.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when using the App
  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
  • Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features
  • Not distribute, copy, or modify any part of the App

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

The App offers optional premium features through PRO+, available as a monthly or annual subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's account settings (App Store or Google Play)
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies — we cannot process refunds directly
  • Users who purchased a legacy one-time PRO unlock retain access to features included in that original purchase

6. Cloud Sync

PRO+ customers may enable Cloud Sync to store measurement data in their personal iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) account.

  • Your synced data resides in your own cloud account, not on our servers
  • We are not responsible for the availability, security, or data handling practices of iCloud or Google Drive
  • Disabling Cloud Sync stops future syncing but does not automatically delete previously synced data from your cloud account

7. Health Integration

The App may optionally integrate with Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android) to write body fat percentage data. This feature is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent.

  • Health data is processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers
  • You can revoke health data access at any time in your device's settings
  • Body fat estimates provided by the App are not medical advice and should not be used as the sole basis for health decisions

8. Medical Disclaimer

The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek professional medical advice before making decisions about your health.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Tehidea Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. User Data

Your use of the App and any data you provide is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tehidea Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
