Information You Provide

If you use the mobile app, you may provide:

• Body measurements and physical characteristics
• Gender and age information
• User preferences and settings
• Health data (body fat percentage via Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect)
• Purchase and subscription information (managed via RevenueCat)
• Any feedback or correspondence you send us

Analytics and Advertising

We use third-party services to understand how our products are used, and — on the website only — to serve advertisements. Each service below is listed with the product it runs in:

• PostHog Analytics (website and app) - Product analytics that helps us understand which features are used. In the app it records a small set of interaction events against an anonymous ID; it never receives your measurements or results
• Umami Analytics (website only) - Privacy-focused analytics for website usage trends
• Sentry (app only) - Crash and performance monitoring, used to find and fix errors
• RevenueCat (app only) - Subscription and purchase management, which processes transaction data against an anonymous ID
• Google Tag Manager (website only) - Loads our analytics and advertising tags in your browser, and sets Google cookies (_ga, _gid, _gcl_*) once you consent
• Google AdSense (website only) - Advertising service that may use cookies and web beacons. AdSense is not present in the mobile app, which serves no ads.

On the website, these services may place cookies or use similar tracking technologies in your browser, and you can manage your preferences through our Privacy Settings. The mobile app sets no advertising cookies and uses no advertising identifiers.

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this website. Google may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet. This information may be used to provide measurement services and target advertisements on this website. AdSense is not integrated into the mobile app, and no advertisement is ever shown inside the app.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this website and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising on this website by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

Privacy Sandbox

Google's advertising services on this website are experimenting with privacy-preserving technologies via the Privacy Sandbox initiative. This applies to visitors browsing this website in a supporting browser such as Chrome: those with Privacy Sandbox settings enabled may see relevant ads based on Topics or Protected Audience data stored on their device, and ad performance may be measured using Attribution Reporting data stored locally.

We do not participate in Privacy Sandbox on Android. That programme requires an advertising SDK inside a mobile app, and our app contains none.

Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent

How to request access to or deletion of your data

Email [email protected] and tell us whether you want a copy of your data or its deletion. We will respond within 30 days.

The app has no accounts, so we hold no name or email address to look you up by. The analytics, error-reporting and purchase records described above are stored against an anonymous per-installation identifier, which the app does not display. To help us find them, please include:

• Your platform (iOS or Android)
• The app version shown in the app under Settings → Version, and roughly when you installed it
• For purchase records, your store receipt, order ID or the email address used for your Apple or Google account purchase

Your measurements and results are not part of such a request, because they never reach us. They are stored on your device, and you can erase them yourself at any time by deleting them in the app or uninstalling it. If you enabled Cloud Sync, delete the synced files from your own iCloud or Google Drive account, which we cannot access. Progress photos are likewise stored only on your device.
